Faria Frye

For Faria Frye, returning to the Women’s Wrestling Alliance isn’t just another opportunity—it’s a chance to rewrite one of the most disappointing chapters of her career. Frye and longtime partner Kaiva Frost spent years together on the independent circuit before their team, Fire & Desire, became one of the first signed by WWA in 2024. Expectations were high, but an 0-4 start resulted in their release after only one month.

Faria refused to let failure define her. Fire & Desire traveled to Japan, rebuilt their reputation, and eventually captured the NJPW World Tag Team Championship. Their success earned them another opportunity when WWA began preparing for its relaunch, but contract negotiations changed everything. Faria was ready to sign. Frost wanted more money. WWA eventually withdrew the offer, leaving an furious Faria watching her second chance disappear.

Rather than accept it, Frye called WWA Vice President of Talent Relations Jenna Doll and asked what she needed to do to get back in. The answer was simple: find another partner.

Faria parted ways with Frost and returned to the independent scene carrying an open WWA contract for whoever she selected. For a month, she watched potential partners knowing this time the decision—and consequences—belonged entirely to her.

Her choice was Halie Grimm.

Now Frye enters the WWA relaunch with a new version of Fire & Desire and considerably more pressure than her new partner. Halie has everything to gain. Faria knows exactly what losing this opportunity feels like.

She fought her way back once.

She has no intention of doing it again.

This time, Fire & Desire has to work—and Faria Frye is betting her future that she chose the right woman.
