BIO

Kim Duggan never discovered professional wrestling. She was born into it. As the daughter of wrestling legend “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Kim spent her childhood following her father from arena to arena, growing up backstage around some of the biggest names the business had ever produced. To Kim, legends weren’t posters on a bedroom wall. They were the people passing through her childhood.

At ten years old, her father began training her in a ring he built behind their home, regularly bringing wrestlers over to teach his daughter lessons no training manual could provide. Thirteen years later, Kim finally stepped into an official ring in St. Louis, joining Gateway Championship Wrestling after one of her father’s longtime friends offered her an opportunity to succeed—or fail—on her own.
She succeeded spectacularly.

Within two years, Kim became Gateway’s World Champion and biggest attraction. Then her father purchased the struggling promotion. Kim loved him for trying to save it—and immediately surrendered her championship and left.

She refused to spend her career wondering whether being a Duggan mattered more than being Kim.

That search carried her overseas to New Zealand and Southern Cross Pro Wrestling, where Kim became more than its biggest star. She helped build the promotion, recruited talent, promoted events and eventually became a national wrestling celebrity. She could have stayed forever.
Instead, Kim walked away again.

The Women’s Wrestling Alliance offered something comfort never could: an answer.

Were the championships, packed buildings and victories really hers? Or had a famous last name quietly opened doors she never noticed?

Kim believes she knows the truth.

Now she’s come to the WWA to prove it.

Her father gave her the name Duggan.

Everything after that?

Kim intends to prove there **ain’t no hand-me-down.**
