BIO

Misty Grace Mercer didn’t arrive at a WWA scouting combine as the woman everyone was talking about. She fixed that.

The private evaluation featured nearly twenty prospects performing for WWA officials, but most of the attention belonged to Sloane Bishop, a highly touted six-foot prospect who seemed convinced her contract was already waiting.

When Bishop openly questioned why Mercer was being evaluated as a powerhouse, Misty listened until she finally looked toward the officials and asked, “Can we wrestle?”
Two minutes and forty-one seconds later, Bishop was staring at the ceiling.

Mercer didn’t steal a victory. She threw around the woman WWA had actually come expecting to sign and made the entire scouting room reconsider its notes. When told afterward that she had earned another evaluation, Misty responded, “Another one? What exactly didn’t you see?”
Welcome to MGM.

Further scouting revealed an unusual career. Mercer never cared about collecting championships from promotions she considered irrelevant. Instead, she sought out the biggest, strongest, or most celebrated woman available, wrestled her, collected her money, and moved on.
Her explanation was simple: “If nobody cares about your company, why would I care about your belt?”
That attitude made Mercer difficult to tolerate and impossible to ignore.

MGM wanted WWA because, as she puts it, “Eventually you have to stop beating people who don’t matter.”

Now she has her WWA contract, a locker room full of new targets, and an almost supernatural ability to make people dislike her within five minutes.
The uncomfortable part?

Misty Grace Mercer might actually be as good as she thinks she is.
