Anya Voss

For ten years, Anya Voss has been preparing for a level of competition she simply couldn't find at home.

Voss began wrestling at just 16 years old in Zagreb, Croatia, training inside state-of-the-art facilities alongside a small but fiercely dedicated group of female wrestlers. There were no championships to chase and no major promotions surrounding them. They wrestled for competition—staying in condition, exchanging strategies, studying weaknesses and constantly refining their craft.

Eventually, Anya outgrew the room.

Standing taller than every woman in the WWA, Voss possesses obvious physical advantages, but her size isn't what makes her dangerous. Beneath that imposing frame is a calculated technician and a vicious suplex machine capable of turning a wrestling match into a demolition.

Finding legitimate competition became increasingly difficult. Despite beginning at 16, Anya has competed in only 22 official matches. When serious competition couldn't be found in Croatia, she went looking for it elsewhere.

That search took her to London, where Voss entered an international tournament featuring 32 women and outlasted all 31 opponents to win the entire event. She later traveled to Japan for another tournament against a completely different style of competition. Sixteen women entered. Once again, Anya was the last woman standing.

Two countries. Two tournaments. Two victories.

Now, at 26 years old, Croatia's best-kept secret has finally arrived in the Women's Wrestling Alliance.

For years, Anya's biggest problem wasn't defeating opponents—it was finding enough of them. The WWA has solved that problem by giving her an entire roster.

Anya Voss finally has all the competition she's been searching for.

The question now is whether the WWA was ready to find her.
