Melissa Santana

Melissa Santana entered the WWA expecting to stand beside Rhea Ripley, Teri Rose and Rose Blade as part of Judgment Day. After two months of training together, Ripley suddenly removed Santana from the group just one week before opening night. No explanation. No conversation. Santana was simply out. That rejection created “Petty.”

Santana responded by winning her first three matches, including a victory over Teri Rose, before defeating Roxanne Perez to earn a championship opportunity at Night of Champions. Although she fell short against Trish Stratus and The Reaper, Santana remained a major force on Xtreme. She later defeated Rose Blade and eventually Rhea Ripley herself, giving Santana a perfect 3-0 record against Judgment Day.

Just as another championship opportunity approached, Ripley struck again. During Santana’s #1 contender’s match against Tessa Vice, Ripley attacked both women while the referee was down and placed Vice on top of Santana for the victory. Santana demanded Ripley at Cash Clash Dreams. Ripley won their brutal showdown, leaving their rivalry tied 1-1. Santana wanted the rubber match, but instead she was traded to Vendetta, and shortly afterward the WWA closed its doors.

Santana returned to Puerto Rico and competed for her father’s promotion, helping rebuild the family company while sharpening the edge that made her dangerous. But she always believed the WWA would eventually call again.

Now it has.

The rivals from Santana’s first run are gone, but the unfinished business remains. She isn’t returning for revenge or validation. This time, Santana wants everything the first chapter never gave her.

The Petty One is back—and nobody gets to tell Melissa Santana she’s out again.
