Montana Marko was never brought into The Misfits to blend in. She was brought in to change everything.

The Misfits had already established themselves throughout the independent scene before Marko entered the picture, but the group reached a crossroads following its first opportunity in the WWA. Brody Dallas and Emerson Finch had earned the initial call-up, only for early struggles and Finch’s eventual departure to leave Dallas searching for a new partner and a new direction.

That search ended with Montana.

Marko brought an entirely different presence to the team. While Dallas overwhelmed opponents with breathtaking speed and aerial unpredictability, Montana specialized in punishment. Her aggressive, physical approach gave The Misfits the force they had been missing, and the contrast between the two quickly became their greatest weapon.

Instead of waiting for another opportunity, Montana and Brody went looking for one. Their journey eventually took them to Mexico, where the rebuilt Misfits proved their partnership could succeed beyond the independent scene they came from. Together they captured the MWA Women’s Tag Team Championships, validating the gamble both women had taken on each other.

Their success eventually caught the attention of WWA Vice President of Talent Scouts and lead commentator Jenna Doll, who offered The Misfits a return contract. Montana and Brody relinquished their championships and returned stateside with their focus completely shifted toward the WWA.

For Montana, this opportunity isn’t about simply proving she belongs. That question has already been answered.

She came to The Misfits when the group needed a new identity and helped transform it into something stronger, meaner, and far more dangerous.

Now Montana Marko intends to make sure their second chance in the WWA becomes the opportunity nobody forgets.
