BIO
Fire & Desire began with Faria Frye and Kaiva Frost, longtime independent partners who became one of the first teams signed by WWA in 2024. Their opportunity ended almost immediately when an 0-4 start resulted in their release after only one month. They responded by heading to Japan, rebuilding their reputation and eventually capturing the NJPW World Tag Team Championship.
When WWA prepared for its relaunch, Fire & Desire were offered another opportunity. Frye was ready to return, but Frost demanded more money, negotiations collapsed, and WWA withdrew the offer. Furious, Faria contacted Jenna Doll and asked how she could earn her contract back. The answer was simple: find a new partner.
Frye and Frost parted ways, leaving Faria to scout the independent scene with an open WWA contract for the woman she selected. After a month of searching, she chose rising Kansas Wrestling Federation star Halie Grimm, who accepted the opportunity to leave her singles career behind and rebuild Fire & Desire alongside Frye.
The two have spent the past month training relentlessly, attempting to create chemistry quickly enough to survive in WWA’s tag division. Faria brings experience and the memory of what happened the first time. Halie arrives without that baggage and with everything to gain.
Faria had plenty of choices. She chose Halie Grimm. Now the rebuilt Fire & Desire must prove that gamble was worth it.
