THREE WOMEN. ONE TITLE. WHO REALLY HAS A CLAIM TO VENDETTA?

The WWA may be returning with a clean slate, but May Fawx, Brittany Bryce and Heather Rae haven't forgotten where they stood when the doors closed. All three believe unfinished business remains at the top of the company, and the arrival of the new WWA World Championship gives each woman a compelling reason to believe she belongs in that conversation. Fawx was the World Champion of Vendetta. Bryce ruled the Xtreme brand as WWA Champion, finished as the company's No. 1 ranked competitor and never suffered a singles defeat. Rae held the Universal Championship—the most prestigious prize in the WWA—and added a SummerFest Rumble victory and Elimination Chamber win to a résumé few could match.
The new WWA World Championship belongs exclusively to this era, but its lineage brings together the three major championships that came before it. That makes its existence personal for all three women. Fawx can point to being the champion of the very show returning to carry the WWA forward. Bryce can argue that no one ever proved they could take her place at the top. Rae can point to the Universal Championship and ask why the woman who carried the company's most prestigious prize should suddenly consider herself anything less. Fawx and Rae have even come close to settling that argument before. During a tense confrontation on Vendetta, Fawx threatened to beat Rae's ass, only for Rae to invite her to prove it right then and there. The fight never happened.
Now, for the first time, all three are entering the same WWA with the same championship waiting at the top. There are no automatic title shots, inherited rankings or protected positions. Everybody starts at zero. What happened before may explain why Fawx, Bryce and Rae believe they should be first in line, but it guarantees them nothing. Remarkably, despite everything each accomplished, the three have never battled one another. The old WWA never answered which woman truly stood above the others. The new WWA finally might.
